My artistic work is born from a need to return to the essential. Faced with the agitation of the urban world, I seek in nature a space for breathing, a form of silence that speaks. Each walk, each place leaves an inner trace, a memory that I transform into a drawing.
My works are created with black felt-tip pen, with an intention focused on line work and the rendering of material. The choice of black and white allows me to get to the essence of things, to eliminate the superfluous to keep only the lines, the rhythms, the reliefs. It is in this contrast that the memory of the landscape is expressed, not as it shows itself, but as it is felt.
I am inspired by real places, landscapes that are dear to me and others discovered by chance during travels. Drawing becomes a space for escape, a way to revisit memory, to extract its tranquility. Between the rigor of the line and the freedom of the gesture, it is always a quest for connection: connection to the earth, to time, to simplicity.
Through these landscapes, I invite to slow down, to get lost in the line of a tree or the curve of a mountain. My drawings do not just tell of a place, but an emotion, that of a suspended moment, far from the tumult, where one finds what truly matters.
